Flowers in the Garden.

Flowers are great. Did a bit of photoshopping on the second- very "glamour" flower power. :D

A Walk in a Little Town

Walking to the mechanic's gave me about 2 miles to explore the not-quite-completed sidewalk and the buildings of this town. Very cute. Very 'New England'. I took some artistic liberties with a couple of the photos' color. Photoshop's capabilities are endless. :-)

This was part of a war memorial for soldiers from the town who died in WW2 and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Nature overtaking the interstate bridge.

Adventure in New England

Stark (pictured above) got very ill on a roadtrip. Fate has brought me to a quaint New England town and the free wifi of the local McDonald's. Blessed be McDonald's free wifi. (Partnered with AT&T no less!)

G.K. Chesterton is quoted as saying, "An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered." I'm definitely taking the opportunity to consider this an adventure... even though my bank account definitely considers this an inconvenience. After spending the night in an adorable local lakeside hotel, I decided to traipse around the lake and snap some shots. Here's what I came out with.

I'm hoping the weather clears up more (it was cloudy & sprinkling when I took these) so I can visit the lake again before I leave.

Garden Photos

Had to snap some photos while walking down the street in the Have. It's really delightful when people keep their gardens well.
