Had to snap some photos while walking down the street in the Have. It's really delightful when people keep their gardens well.

Oh, he's definitely awake. Lookit those puppy eyes!
"Oh hai!" Hi, Shammy! Good morning! You were looking so cute napping in the sun, I had to take some pictures of you!
"Omigosh! No moar pick-chures! They steal mai sole!"

A new kind of art!

Wow, it's been a long time. (I say that a lot in my blogs.) My strained relationship with art has taken an interesting and awesome turn, mostly thanks to Bananapants over at HoChoAddict and his other new 'baby' in the form of a Canon Rebel T1i dslr camera. After using it a bunch to take some fun photos of friends, I realized what an amazing piece of equipment the camera is.

I had commented to Bananapants, "It's like painting! But about a billion times faster!"

So I sought the advice of the media-savvy gents at work, checked out other cameras, but in the end, I took the plunge and bought the same camera Bananapants has. I've had it for less than 24 hours, but I've been able to take some stunning photos of incredibly mundane things.

I was going to add of those photos with this post, but realized that I need to load the memory card software on my computer first.... and that CD is at home. Maybe tonight? :-)
